Triple Feature

I'll start off today's blog with an announcement. The Office Blog subscriber count has officially entered single digits! Hold your applause please. Because this is such a momentous occasion i will be highlighting a triple feature of episodes today. My busy life and a lack of posts may have something to do with today's need for a triple feature, but the main reason is to celebrate.

We'll start with the opening scene of 504 when Michael is practicing child delivery by delivering Dwight's watermelon baby. The image of Dwight on the desk squeezing a watermelon out from under his shirt is hilarious. When the watermelon finally pops out it slips right through Michael's hands. When Dwight told him that he rubbed butter all over the watermelon for realism and I couldn't contain myself. Dwight tops it off by saying "Quick mark the baby with a mark that only you could produce and that no baby snatcher could ever copy."

Episode 505 hosted the king of all awkward moments between Michael and Holly. When they were talking about what they were going to do for their third date Michael says "well some of that depends on whether or not we're having sex after...wow elephant in the room... well are we going to have sex tonight?" This was one of those moments when you just cringe with awkwardness. Holly proves that she is just as geeky as him by replying "hell yeah."

Another good moment from 505 is when they are holding the auction to raise money for the branch. During the auction Michael hits his auction hammer and it makes a little squeak noise like a toy. He says "what the hell was that" then Phyllis replies saying "That was the only gavel I could find." Michael just continues on by muttering "it squeaks when you bang it thatswhatshesaid. LETS HEAR IT FOR ME SOLD!"

The highlight from 506 would have to be the beginning sequence when everyone is dressed up in their Halloween costumes. Creed walks in looking frighteningly similar to the Joker and Kevin stands up with a much crappier costume saying "Dangit! I've been up since 4 getting ready." Dwight then enters with another Joker costume to top it off.

See ya next week.

The Ethics bomb

Can't help but starting this blog with the image of Micheal and holly dancing to Olivia Newton John singing "lets get ethical." You know that feeling when you feel embarrassed for someone else... Michael is a pro at executing that feeling in me, but that's why Steve Carell is so awesome.

quote of the episode would be when andy interupts the ethics discussion to say "I'll drop an ethics bomb on ya, would you steal bread to feed your starving family? BOOM" then Dwight cuts in saying "thats a trick question, the bread is poison and its also not your family, you've been cuckholded by a stronger, smarter male." Mike gives his wisdom by saying " I would not steal and I would not let my family starve either." Seems like a good solution to me.

Another good one from this episode came when Holly is pondering how to punish Meridith and Michael suggests telling her that she can't have sex for six months LOL! He then considers buying her a chastity belt.

I'll conclude this post with Jim trying to catch Dwight not working. He starts talking to Andy about Battlestar Galactica, and making ridiculous claims about the show causing dwight to cringe as he cannot intervene. I don't know what it is but just hearing the words BattleStar Galactica associated with Dwight schrute just makes me laugh.

Welcome to the office blog

Welcome to The Office blog, the home of the best moments from most recent episode of everyones favorite network tv show. Every week, I'll be touching on the funniest anecdotes and quotes from the most recent episode of The Office.

This weeks episode, weight loss, was a good one. Nothing makes me laugh more than the thought of Dwight abandoning Phylis in the middle of nowhere in order to make her exercise. Dwight sums up his feelings with a forced apology from the heart: "I apologize for creating a ruse which caused you to exercise."

Another favorite moment of mine is after Dwight and Michael find some of the other employees eating cake in the warehouse. I couldn't control myself when Dwight kicked the cheesecake all over the place in his oh-so-elegant manor yelling, "Happy birthday Stanley!"

The quote of the episode would also have to go to Dwight. For some reason I'm not surprised. "This is what I'm gonna do. I'm going to randomly select three names, and these three people will get liposuction. Ughhhh. Stanley, Phyllis, Kevin. And you will be responsible for your own medical bills." LOL

Now that I've written my first entry I think my amazement with Dwights hilarious character will be affecting the majority of my best of moments. Hell I have a feeling that this blog is going to turn into a blog about dwight. hmm...
